I am thinking it is about time to get another of these after 2 years
but I cannot detect significant aging
I also cannot detect any difference from the Olympus battery - except in the price!

There are a few non-Olympus batteries for Olympus cameras, but most are of lower capacity than the branded version. This one however has the same nominal capacity (1500mAh), and it seems to be borne out in practice: I have this battery and also an Olympus BLM-1, and don't notice any real difference in the time they last before needing a recharge.
And for a fraction of the Olympus price!
