Cameras need a higher charge battery, such as these 2700 NiMH examples. Back in 2007, I bought a set of these and 2 sets of the faster charging 2700 NiMH Uniross equivalents.
Within 18 months, both sets of Uniross batteries had given up the ghost - simply unable to supply sufficent charge to power the camera, which showed 'battery low' when the batteries were fully charged. But these Encore batteries are still going strong - highly recommended.

I bought this charger to go with two little sets of battery powered lights which I bought from Amazon. The lights were bright and kept going all day with these fairly powerful batteries. Left them recharging overnight then ready to go again next day. Saved a fortune on buying AA single use batteries. They will be useful in other things until next Christmas rolls round

I was looking for an 'aa' quick charger for use with The Wii controller without spending silly money. This fits the bill just fine. A quick charge for 2x or 4x aa batteries. I can confirm that these ARE 2700ah batteries. There had previously been some confusion due to the illustration showing a different Ah rating than the text stated.
These batteries have a longer usage time so would be also good for Cameras etc that take an 'aa' size battery.

Where's the missing 200mah gone? Amazon product description says "2700mah" yet the image of the package clearly states "2500mah". Time (and milliamps) cost money!
