Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Nikon en-el3e battery : for d200 (VAW13403)
Customer Reviews: The original and best.July 28, 2010 G. E. Hearn(UK) Normally I'm not one for genuine batteries. They seem to cost a hell of a lot more than compatible ones and are much the same. But not this one!
Pattern batteries don't seem to work so well with the D90's "remaining battery charge" indicator and give erroneous readings. There's none of that with this genuine article.
Save money on something else, but don't skimp on the battery for your Nikon. There's a good reason that the genuine article is double the cost of a copy in this instance.
Fantastic Value for genuine Nikon productMay 11, 2010 Bill Ab.(Ballyclare, N. Ireland) I couldn't believe it when I saw this battery advertised by Amazon at such a good price. Must admit I was a bit sceptical as to whether or not is was the genuine article. I had previously bought an independent make battery from another source for my D700 and it was twice this price. However upon close examination this does appear to be a genuine Nikon product. If you need a spare battery for your Nikon camera, then don't hesitate. This is fantastic value for money for a Nikon battery. I have made a few Nikon user friends aware of this offer. Even if you don't need a spare you should still be tempted to buy one at this price. You simply can't go wrong.
Expensive but VEEEEEERY worth it!May 9, 2010 Peter Roxburgh(Dorset, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As I have recently set up a wedding photography business with a friend of mine, it was pertinent of me to order a spare battery.
I charged it up once in time for a wedding, which we shot yesterday. I shot 502 photos yesterday using my D90 Nikon D90 Body Onlyand only lost 1 bar on the battery indicator!
Please note that I was using an SB-400 Nikon Speedlight SB-400 External Flash the whole time, which means that the flash doesn't drain the main camera battery as the SB-400 uses 2xAA batteries for its power.
However, i was also using a Sigma OS lens Sigma DC 3,5-6,3/18-200 OS HSM for Nikon and I had the Optical Stabilisation on for most of the day and that DOES use the camera battery to work.
So in summary, to shoot 502 photos, with OS on and only lose 1 bar off the battery - means buying original Nikon is exceedingly worth it!
enel3e battery geniuneApril 6, 2010 kevin Mac(Tyrone, N Ireland) if your camera is still under warranty this is the only battery to buy, nikon won't stand over your camera unless this is the one you use , other wise just buy a cheaper branded battery, as i had two of these both purchased at the £60 bracket one of which just died after a year for no reason, leaving me seriously out of pocket.
