I bought this product hoping for it to be the same model supplied with the camera (Sony Cybershot DSC-H55) which would be the NP-BG1 as I like to know that the product will work. I bought mine off "K.K. Electronics" and the delivery was free yet very fast but my only downside to the order would be that the model I thought i was buying was not sent to me, instead I got the NP-FG1 which I must say, still works with the camera (I've tried it in the camera and it fits, I still have to charge it and use it yet.) and I don't mind aslong as it works, its just bad practice to advertise for the NP-BG1 and send the NP-FG1. Product does come in the plastic case that clips shut to protect it when out and about using it as a spare battery which is very handy.
*Edit* Charged battery (NP-FG1) and it works just as well as the original.

Bought this product as a spare for my Sony Camera, much cheaper than buying it from the Sony shop.

This item was ordered through Amazon from Terrabok and listed as a Sony battery. It was difficult to insert in the camera and only possible to extract with the aid of tweezers. In short it was too big. On contacting Terrabok I was emailed to say that I could return it but it would be subject to a restocking fee of 25% plus p&p. This, of course, is contrary to the distance selling regulations. In future, IF I decide to order from Amazon I shall ensure the item is not from a third party seller!
