I have used this NP-FH100 Infolithium H Series High Capacity Camcorder Battery only twice and each time it has suddenly discharged itself during use. I charged the battery fully on receipt as per the Sony Operating Instructions and then used it; it lasted approximately 2 hours before suddenly discharging. I re-charged the battery a few days later and on using it aagain the same thing happened. I believe it is a "one-off" as I have 2 more of these batteries (purchased in July 2009 via Amazon) and both work perfectly, giving me about 6 hours of use each.
I will be returning this battery to Amazon so that I can receive a replacement.

I bought this battery for my sons wedding so I had plenty of battery time - didnt want to miss anything! Brilliant !! I got a full days filming done - no problem.

The batteries I ordered and received are genuine original Sony product and are very good value for money. I am very pleased with my purchase. Similarly the dealer service is very prompt. I was kept informed of the dispatch / delivery progress at each stage. I highly recommend purchasing on Amazon. My only gripe with Amazon is that they charged me full postage for each item as if in separate orders, although the goods in my bulk order were sent to me in one package for less postage. If Amazon can put this right, I would not look anywhere else but to Amazon for my shopping.

Can't fault the service, battery arrived within 24hrs of placing the order. I ordered this for a trip to Egypt to save all the hassle of carrying extra batteries. Yes it does stick out of the camera quite considerably and it is fairly weighty, but you do get over 11 hours of running time from one charge. Beware of cheap immitations they are not as good; regardless of their claims!
