Very affordable frame with a resolution of 480 x 234 pixels. Pleased that the pixels are like the ones from a mobile phone screen and not the RGB type which I don't think show images off as well. Video playback is excellent although the speakers aren't very good (try listening to SOS by Jordin Sparks on it in MP3 and you'll hear why) but otherwise a very good frame with built-in battery. Remote control is very handy and makes navigating extremely easy.

I bought the Linx 7" Multimedia Digital Photoframe. The advantages are you can show photographs without printing and wasting paper and ink obviously and have your favourite music in the background. I had a picture of Kermit lying dead in an alley from Swine flu and Chopin's funeral March playing. We all know who he caught that from! Lol! It doesn't do the sound great, but OK for a photoframe. It also does Mpeg video. You don't need to buy the SD card if you have a USB flash drive. My Kingston 8 Gb flash drive worked in it fine. The only problem is the battery in the remote control. It doesn't fit great - if the remote doesn't work take the battery out and put it back in again. You can control it with the switches on the back of the frame though.

This digital photo frame has everything we expected.
- We can play mp3 songs with/without watching photos. Sound is very clear.
- We can play divx movies
However, there is no setting for transitions and also processing of bigger photos (may be 7 megapixels) takes sometimes. When moves from one photo to another, first the screen becomes black, then the second photo appears slowly. But, I want that the first photo should not be cleared before second appear. Only because of lack of this feature, I will give 4 out of 5, otherwise 5/5.

I looked for the product review befor purchase and kind of knew that can not expect much from that linx 7".
Well, the frame has good features including remote, browse modes, interchengable frames etc.
The weakest point is pictures quality. Depend on the picture, some look OK other not so.
It is a shame that the display gives you such a poor quality. On the other hand some more expensive frames I saw in shops may give you same quality result.
I bought this frame as a present for my mom so she can browse pic of her grandson.
Would I buy Linx 7" again?
Not sure, probably would go to the store and check the display qualty first.
