bought this rather than the H100 and glad I did because it is just the right size and doesnt get in the way of using the viewfinder - I guess the H100 would be too big
it provides power for at least 4 hours use and I only needed to recharge it once towards the end of a 2 week holiday
I would recommend it to anyone

I bought this for my Sony DCRSR57E Camcorder because the original sold with it only lasts for 90mins of recording. This however lasts for 5-7hrs and is recommended on the camcorder box as an accessory. You would think that for the amount Sony Charges for the camcorder that they will at least put in a descent battery for it, but no you get a 'tester' battery to test your camera then you have to buy the real macoy to go with it if you want decent battery for continous recording for several hours. Well at least it is a Sony original and fits very well with the camera and the recharging time is fast. It is a great battery and well worth investing in as a first battery then using the one that came with the camera as a spare. I highly recommend it.

I bought this as a spare, and it soon became my main battery, excellent value for money, original Sony product buying it through Amazon is far cheaper than buying it direct from Sony.

I bought this spare battery for going to the USA (19-29 March 2010) for my holiday. It's just fully charged i can't WAIT to try it out! it worth 47.47!!!! The battery will be my main one for my camcorder. and the one that came with my camcorder will be the spare.
