I was so pleased with the presentation of this product to start with as it was for a present and it really looked the part. As to the content, well this also did not dismay either, it looks good upon the camera and does indeed fit the Nikon camera as printed. We do not have a genuine Nikon ring flash with which to compare but all I can say is that it does all that we wanted from it at a fraction of the cost. A very good buy and thank you Amazon for bringing it to your collection
