Comparing to the original battery 1080 mAh, it is quite long life...400~500 shots for 1080 mAh battery but 1000+ for this 1500 one... whatever, it is good.

With an item this cheap I should have known better! - It goes into the camera ok but needs more than a little persuasion to get it out - (it's a turn the camera upside down and thump bottom of camera whilst holding the battery retainer catch open in the hope that the battery comes out!) Not the best buy, but then it was CHEAP

Ok as a backup battery, although be aware that it is quite a tight fit in my 450D and requires a bit of leverage to remove it from the camera. There is at least one other review that says this, so it seems they don't make these batteries' plastic enclosures to very good tolerances!

I puchased two of these batteries for my 500D battery grip and have taken over 500 images and the camera is still showing a full charge setting, great purchase with quick delivery.

Canon 500D - when i put the battery in the camera the only way to get it out again is to use pliers to pull on the small tab on the battery. Not recomended
