As other reviewers have said, this is a really compact charger with interchangeable adapters for UK, European and USA sockets. Recently spent 3 weeks in the Canary Islands and used it most evenings to charge up my spare batteries. It is small enough to pack away in the accessories section of my camcorder case, only taking the relevant adapter for the country I am in. Previously had a small Sony charger and it wouldn't work abroad, only worked in the UK and then gave up altogether after only 15 months! This was the replacement and I am completely satisfied with it.

Wanted a charger for my recently purchaced Sony Handycam,
As always I went to the best search engine available "Amazon" who found what I wanted straight away, the charger arrived 2 days later well packaged, with ALL the accessories for use anywhere in the world.Easy to clip on the appropriate plug and that was it, very easy to use at a greay price.
I would definitly recommend this product to anyone wishing to travel to other countries with no worries about charging your camcorder battries.

This is the third version of this product I've purchased, as infoLITHIUM batteries made by Sony keep sodding changing. I've tried others but this is by far the best and cheapest on the market.
